Post-Waxing Guidelines
Facial Waxing
Avoid touching freshly waxed area to prevent contamination
You should always wear a sunscreen, but for sure apply SPF for the first 24 hours after waxing
Body Waxing
Start exfoliating as soon as it’s comfortable to do so. Simply use a warm, damp wash cloth or exfoliating gloves, scrub against the grain of hair as this prevent ingrown hairs, bumps, and pimples.
If you have been waxed for the first time a few bumps and/or pimples are common.
Freshly waxed follicles are very easily irritated, so it’s best to avoid sweating, or wearing tight clothing.
Each subsequent waxing session should be less irritating on the skin.
If bumps, or pimples do appear use an antibiotic ointment, tea tree oil, or 5% Benzoyl Peroxide solution to help heal the skin faster.
Avoid picking.
Don’t expose skin to the sun or tanning beds for a few days.
Always wash with a clean wash cloth.
